Spooky Silent Auction Raises Over $21,000 for Blind Association
It was a very successful first year for the New Hampshire Association for the Blind's Spooky Silent Auction which was held at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord on Saturday October 21, 2006.
Close to one hundred fifty guests bid on over 100 items during the fun-filled, morning event. A dinner for 10 prepared by Alex Ray brought in $1,300 while 2 VIP passes to a New England Patriots game sold for $500.00.
All of the funds raised will be used to support the Association's programs and services for people who are blind or visually impaired living in New Hampshire.
