Annual McGreal Society Luncheon

CONCORD - May 17, 2007 - The annual McGreal Society luncheon was held on May 17th at the Sight Center to thank and honor contributors who have included the Association in their estate plans or who have made a planned gift such as a gift annuity or trust.

The McGreal Society is named after William McGreal who was the Association's first Executive Director and his wife, Elizabeth Yates McGreal, a noted author who served on the Board of Directors for over 30 years.

A program was presented to bring the participants up-do-date on current Association news and plans. A new video featuring five clients telling their personal stories of independence after blindness was shown for the first time. Several of the clients spoke to the group about their experiences.
